Rebecca and Hope are students at Bishop Cipriano Kihangire Senior Secondary School and are both in senior level 3. They were admitted to the school in May 2017 and have completed their end of year examinations for 2017, to be promoted to the next level -4 in 2018.

Bridget is 18 years of age. Bridget sat for her senior level 4 examinations in 2015 but was unable to proceed to the next level because her parents had limited resources to send her to school. Bridget is now attending St. Kizito Hospital Matany School of Nursing and Midwifery. She is pursuing a certificate in nursing for the two-and-a-half-year

Damaly is an 18-year-old girl who comes from Asal village. She is a daughter to peasant farmers, with 8 siblings in the family. In 2016, she sat for her senior level 4 examinations at St Thomas Girls’ school. Due to the lack of resources, she was unable to proceed to senior level 5, she has been home for the last one year. Damaly attends Jerusalem School of Nursing and Midwifery in Lira where she will be pursuing a two-and-a-half-year certificate course in nursing starting January 2018.

Leah is a first-year student at Mengo School of Nursing and Midwifery. She joined the school in November 2017, where she is pursuing a certificate in midwifery for the next two-and-a-half-year.
